Azzinano è inserita armoniosamente in un paesaggio verdeggiante, tipicamente abruzzese, tutto punteggiato di casolari sparsi, addossati alle numerose collinette segnate da fossi e da torrenti, dolcemente degradanti verso l’adriatico selvaggio di dannunziana memoria.

Nell’ultima settimana di luglio annualmente ospita artisti provenienti da varie regioni italiane, che realizzano murales sulle facciate delle case, con tematica specifica: I giochi di una volta! (I Giochi dell’Infanzia)
